Now that you know about the different levels of coverage provided with Extended Protection, we would now like to share with you the full pricing list for all new and pre-owned vehicles effective November 3rd.
Please note that pricing for H-Promise Certified Pre-owned vehicles will be communicated in a separate bulletin.
New pricing effective on November 3rd
Pricing for the product will now be based on the level of coverage selected, the model of the vehicle, the coverage term length and the deductible option chosen.
Extended Protection Pricing – NEW
Extended Protection Pricing – PRE-OWNED
Here’s an overview of the key factors affecting the cost for Extended Protection contracts:
- Five term options: 6/120, 6/200, 7/120, 7/140 and 8/160
- Three levels of coverage:
- Premium Plus: it offers exclusionary coverage comparable to Hyundai’s comprehensive factory warranty. All components except for a select list of exclusions are covered. Plus, it includes Road Hazard coverage, a Claim-Free Reward benefit, and a Trade-in benefit;
- Premium: it offers inclusionary coverage where covered components are specifically listed; and
- Powertrain: it offers powertrain component coverage and is the most basic level of coverage available.
- Two deductible options: $0 and $100
- Maximum dealer mark-up: $1,800
HPP (old pricing) available only until November 2nd
If you sell a vehicle by November 2nd (and delivery takes place at a later date) and you wish to sell an HPP contract with the old pricing, you must create the contract by the end of day November 2nd.
The new product and pricing come into effect the morning of November 3rd and you will not have access to old rates.
